Dr. Amanda Kenderes holds a Ph.D. in Social Sciences and Comparative Education from the Graduate School of Education and Information Studies at UCLA. Over the last 12 years, she has worn many hats–including university professor, senior leader with the International Baccalaureate, and mother of two very opinionated toddlers. For the past 30 years, Dr. Kenderes has worked to develop the Talk Type model, a communication framework that explains not just how, but why, people talk. This has never been done before.
Currently, she aims to scale the model to new frontiers like AI-human interfacing, curriculum and teaching, leadership, mental health, and virtual companionship. Outside of work, she enjoys gourmet cooking, traveling, exploring nature, and nurturing meaningful connections.
Honored at the Education 2.0 Conference for her significant impact on the educational landscape, Dr. Kenderes received the prestigious "Excellence In Education Award."
