Buggyra Academy France driver Téo Calvet arrives at the second round of the French Truck Racing Championship at Le Castellet's Paul Ricard circuit as series leader, following a dominant season-opening weekend at Dijon.

-- This weekend, the French Truck Racing Championship moves to Paul Ricard, one of the fastest and most technically demanding circuits on the calendar. The circuit's specific characteristics make it particularly challenging for racing trucks. It is long, with fast corners and high mechanical loads that place significant demands on both driver and truck, making setup and tire management critical factors over the course of the weekend.

For the 26-year-old Frenchman, the race at Le Castellet represents a new test after an ideal start to the season, and he arrives with both momentum and a clear plan. "I really can't wait to get back on track. We know that Le Castellet isn't an easy track for our truck. It has a similar layout to Dijon, with fast corners, but things went quite well here last year, so I hope it will be the same this time. We'll try to score as many points as possible. Bringing home a second victory would be the best thing that could happen, but we'll try to play it safe, score points, and leave Le Castellet still in first place."

That confidence is grounded in a commanding result from the opening round. The Buggyra Academy France driver delivered a dominant performance at Circuit de Dijon-Prenois, winning both main races and adding two fifth-place finishes in the reverse-grid races to claim overall victory at the season opener. It was a particularly significant weekend for French truck racing, marking the return of the championship to the historic Dijon circuit after 14 years.

Those results have given Calvet a firm grip on the championship standings. He heads to Paul Ricard with 132 points, 25 ahead of Thomas Robineau in second, with Lionel Montagne third on 102 points. The target for Calvet this weekend will be to protect and extend this lead.
