Lewis, President of Lighthouse Leadership Services Inc., was recognized at the CXO 2.0 Conference with the “Visionaries Award.” The global leadership conference, held from April 7–9, 2026, at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. This event brought together senior executives, policymakers, and industry leaders to examine leadership practices that strengthen institutional effectiveness and long-term value creation.
Chris D. Lewis was a Career Police Officer who went on to lead Canada’s second-largest police department, comprising over 9,000 personnel and operating with an operating budget exceeding $1.2B. As he progressed through the ranks of the Ontario Provincial Police, he served in and led some of the most high-profile operational units in patrol, investigations, and tactical operations, as well as in other command roles. He retired from policing in 2014.
He has since authored numerous articles for various magazines and periodicals, as well as a book on leadership, entitled ‘Never Stop on a Hill’ (Amazon.com). He regularly speaks publicly across North America and is a news commentator on policing issues for Canada’s CTV Television Network.
After receiving the award at the leadership event, he stated, “I'm honored to have received the Visionaries Award at the CXO 2.0 Conference.
