-- A 16-year-old visionary is reshaping how young people learn business. Guga, the founder of BizBuild, has created a nonprofit organization that transforms classrooms into launchpads for student entrepreneurs. With a mission to make business-building accessible and hands-on, BizBuild has already reached over 90,000 students across nine states and two continents, partnering with more than 200 schools in just one year of official operation.
Unlike traditional programs that rely on lectures and slides, BizBuild runs like a startup accelerator — fast, focused, and driven by real-world outcomes. Its core programs include:
- BizLab: A yearlong accelerator that guides student teams through real entrepreneurial sprints. Each cohort includes four ventures — two nonprofits and two for-profit startups — focused on achieving measurable goals such as revenue growth, partnerships, or user engagement.
- BizLeague: A new team-based competition launching October 1, which gamifies entrepreneurship. Students earn points for verified progress, creativity, and authentic problem-solving for partner businesses that collectively operate over 500 locations.
- Service Initiatives: Classroom-based projects that distribute entrepreneurship kits, host Q&A sessions with real business operators, and encourage student-run pop-ups.
“There’s no reason young people shouldn’t be able to create,” said Guga. “We teach them how, help them find their why, and then help them help others do the same.”
BizBuild’s impact extends beyond programs. The organization’s youth-focused content has generated 50,000+ impressions on social media, and its educational book “Kobe’s Lemonade Adventure” introduces elementary students to business fundamentals like pricing and supply-demand — serving as an on-ramp to entrepreneurship.
At its core, BizBuild gives students real-world experience — from cold emailing to product launches — turning business theory into proof of potential.
